Graham Number Floor
Every screened stock is evaluated against its Graham Number — a conservative estimate of intrinsic value derived from earnings and book value. We only look seriously at stocks trading below this floor.

Margin of Safety Buffer
We require a minimum 30% discount to intrinsic value before initiating analysis. This buffer absorbs estimation error, model error, and market irrationality — in that order.

Quantitative Screen
ROIC ≥ 10% · D/E ≤ 2.0 · Positive FCF · NYSE/Nasdaq listed. All criteria must pass before valuation is run. This eliminates roughly 91% of candidates before any AI reads a single filing.
